Berwicks’ new and improved website

Reimagining the digital experience in crisis management.

The new Berwicks website homepage is shown on a laptop screen. On either side of the screen is another section of the website homepage.

The brief

Berwicks is a risk consultancy company that helps people and organisations perform better, both in the everyday and during periods of risk. They had adopted a new visual identity for their website only a few years before, but it was a clunky user experience, had already become outdated, and didn't reflect the aligned approach Berwicks teach their clients.

Our task was to create a seamless website that properly showcased their expertise and unique approach to risk management.

A tablet screen shows the hero image of the homepage. The full landing page is shown below. To the right are a series of hot pink line icons showing the following sectors: nuclear, healthcare, real estate, petrochemical, security, technology, infrastructure and engineering. Below shows three LinkedIn post graphics.

The solution

With copy curated by our sister company, Transform Communications, we built a streamlined website with minimal clutter. We leaned into a bold new colour palette, utilising some hot pink to stand out among the traditional style of competitors. Something Berwicks also wanted to highlight was the variety of sectors they have experience in — we achieved this by creating bespoke icons to align better with their branding and differentiate relevant content across the website (for example: documents, case studies, product brochures).

To better promote the website, we then created a series of LinkedIn social graphics to join Transform Communications’ captivating copy and filmed a video series to showcase the people behind Berwicks. This gave perspective clients an insight into the experience they’ll have when working with Berwicks.

Pictured on the left is Richard Youngs, Managing Director of Berwicks. He is a middle age white man with short dark brown hair, short beard, smiling at the camera. The quote reads “The Transform team are a pleasure to work with. Creative and innovative, they have helped us to articulate what we’ve been unable to before. We felt supported throughout the process of refreshing and relaunching Berwicks’ messaging, photography, videography and website.”
